Mark Zuckerberg tells Joe Rogan ‘jiu-jitsu is the best sport’ could compete on his 40th birthday


It looks like Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg is is actually a human, or at least gave us his best proof yet.

During a recent surprise appearance on The Joe Rogan Experience episode #1863, Zuck revealed his admiration for the sport of jiu-jitsu and MMA in general. Apparently, he trained for almost a year after being introduced to jiu-jitsu by his surfer buddies. Both Zuckerberg and Rogan acknowledge the undeniable connection between surfers and jiu-jiteros as Zuck expresses his love for the sport. “It really is the best sport. The question is not, ‘how did I get into it?’ The question is, ‘how did I not find this out until now?’

Zuckerberg trained with Professor Dave Camarillo at Guerrilla Jiu-Jitsu Academy and asks the question: “Where has it been all my life? » He jokes that his life took a turn for the worse when he decided to take up competitive fencing instead of wrestling.

Since becoming a martial artist, Zuckerberg has brought several friends along for their walk-in class experience. He claims that 100% of his referrals have continued training.

While Joe acknowledges the recent competitive achievements of Tom Hardy and Mario Lopez, Zuckerberg says he could try his hand at competition on his 40th birthday in May 2024.
