Salt Life Announces Partnership with Sport Fishing Championship

Salt Life®, the performance and lifestyle brand for saltwater activities of all kinds, is thrilled to announce its sponsorship of the Sport Fishing Championship (SFC), a premier deep-sea fishing series comprised of twelve point-based tournaments, culminating in a Grand Champion Angling Team. As the tournament’s premium lifestyle and performance apparel partner, Salt Life will outfit studio talent as well as on-site staff and featured anglers.

The SFC will begin in April 2022 with the Louisiana Gulf Coast Billfish Classic and will continue in Gulf, Atlantic, Mid-Atlantic and Caribbean waters until the final stop of the tour at the San Juan International Billfish Tournament in Puerto Rico. Teams earn points based on their placement in each qualifying tournament and receive additional points for each qualifying catch throughout the season. The SFC awards four winners based on results from the 12-tournament regular season, which includes three fish championship competitions and a points-based billfish championship.

CBS Sports Network has agreed to a groundbreaking multi-year deal that will deliver high-stakes action on the final day of each event. Three-time World Sailing Champion, Emmy-nominated television host and Salt Life crew member Peter Miller will host the coverage each week alongside veteran broadcaster Robbie Floyd of SFC Studios.
